Proof That Sacrilegious Communion Is Punished! Kobe Bryant Attended Mass And Received Communion The Morning Of His Death....

"Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself." St Paul

Nothing in the above about going to confession before receiving the Blessed Sacrament.

Was Kobe in a state of mortal sin?

Did Kobe receive the Blessed Sacrament in an unworthy manner?

Kobe's unprovided death

Kobe did not have access to a priest to receive last rites.

Kobe did go to mass and did receive communion - but slamming into a Mountain is fruit of his last communion.

The world calls him a Saint.

Is this the end of a Saint?

Went to the 7 AM Mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach

The next Mass starts at 8:30 AM

It is a 10 Minute drive from the church to the airport.

Kobe was on the helicopter by 9:06 AM

The Helicopter slammed into the Mountain by 9:45 AM

Kobe Bryant and daughter Gigi attended Catholic mass in Newport Beach early Sunday morning and received Communion just hours before they both died in tragic crash

Kobe Bryant and daughter Gigi prayed together at Catholic mass at their local church hours before they both died in the tragic helicopter crash, DailyMail.com can reveal.  The basketball legend and 13-year-old Gigi went to the 7am service at the Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach. They both received Communion.  The father and daughter left the church and soon afterwards boarded the S-76 Sikorsky helicopter piloted by Ara Zobyan which was taking them to the Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks for Gigi's basketball practice.  The helicopter crashed into a hillside near Calabasas around 9.30am, firefighters responded to a 911 call at 9.47am. Nine people perished on board. A spokesman for Our Lady Queen of Angels confirmed to DailyMail.com that Kobe was at the early morning service Sunday. One parishioner, who attended a later mass at the church, wrote on social media: 'During mass, our priest informed us all that Kobe Bryant and his daughter attended mass this morning at the Our Lady Queen of Angels.' A subitanea et improvisa morte, libera nos, Domine.

From a sudden and unprovided death, save us, O Lord.

  1. You act as though you have proof he received unworthily. Unless you have received special revelation to that fact, be silent, lest you stand guilty of rash judgment. If you have not received a special revelation, then for all you know, he was not only in a state of grace but just completed a plenary indulgence, and God took him to deliver him from the evil that is coming upon this world and bring him straight to Heaven. Indeed, we pray for deliverance from sudden and unprovided death, but sudden and unprovided death damns no one; only mortal sin can do that. Precisely because of the danger of sudden and unprovided death, we are warned to be ready to meet the Lord at any hour, and to them that are, even sudden and unprovided death carries not the slightest danger.

    1. So God rewards those who receive the Blessed Sacrament by slamming their helicopter into a mountain?

      You're a jerk.

      Convert?

      Right?

      Chick?

      Right?

    2. No one can judge the interior disposition of another. The command "Do not judge, lest you be judged" means that we cannot judge the objective state of a person in the sight of God. An unprovided death doesn't mean a person goes to hell. I do not presume to judge the objective state of another's soul. In this case, he may have received the Eucharist in a state of grace, and the Lord decided that his time on earth was complete. Remember that the measure that we measure with is the same measure that will be used on us.
