A British priest, 69, died during a night of drug-fuelled homosex with a Belgian priest, 60. The latter has been arrested on drug charges.
Neither priest was named by the media. The Briton was visiting colleagues to coincide with Pope Francis' visit to Belgium.
The crime took place on Thursday in a rectory in Kalmthout, north of Antwerp.
Prosecutors said the British priest started feeling unwell, and the Belgian priest called the emergency services shortly after midnight. But attempts to revive the Briton failed.
"It appears that the two men had taken ecstasy and poppers together and had sex. Two ecstasy tablets were found," the prosecutor's office said. Source
