Gluttonous Convert Mark Shea Takes On Gregory of Tours!! Claims Gregory of Tours Is A Quack With His Remarks About The Pyramids As Grain Elevators

"Joseph built granaries of wonderful workmanship made of square stones and cement. They are constructed in such a way that they are very broad at the base but narrow at the top, so that corn could be poured into them through a small aperture. These granaries are still to be seen to this day." Gregory of Tours (d 594 A.D.)
Now when the seven years of the plenty that had been in Egypt were past: The seven years of scarcity, which Joseph had foretold, began to come: and the famine prevailed in the whole world, but there was bread in all the land of Egypt. And when there also they began to be famished, the people cried to Pharao for food. And he said to them: Go to Joseph: and do all that he shall say to you. And the famine increased daily in all the land: and Joseph opened all the barns, and sold to the Egyptians: for the famine had oppressed them also. And all provinces came into Egypt, to buy food, and to seek some relief of their want. And Jacob hearing that food was sold in Egypt, said to his sons: Why are ye careless? I have heard that wheat is sold in Egypt: go ye down, and buy us necessaries, that we may live, and not be consumed with want. So the ten brethren of Joseph went down, to buy corn in Egypt: Whilst Benjamin was kept at home by Jacob, who said to his brethren: Lest perhaps he take any harm in the journey. And they entered into the land of Egypt with others that went to buy. For the famine was in the land of Chanaan. And Joseph was governor in the land of Egypt, and corn was sold by his direction to the people. And when his brethren had bowed down to him, And he knew them, he spoke as it were to strangers somewhat roughly, asking them: Whence came you? They answered: From the land of Chanaan, to buy necessaries of life. Gn xli-xlii
Apparently the fat gluttonous slob convert believed a hit piece on Ben Carson. The hit piece by Politico‘s Kyle Cheney was posted on Shea's blog probably with some snide remarks by the fat man. Shea was fooled by the piece so he took down his post.  Here is analysis of the hit piece by the Federalist: Politico Admits Fabricating A Hit Piece On Ben Carson

Here is Shea:
Took Down the Ben Carson ThingNovember 6, 2015 by Mark Shea
The Politico piece that sparked it looks more and more like there’s no There there. I still am highly skeptical of his dramatic conversion account. And he still lied about his 10 year relationship hawking Mannatech. And his quack remarks about the pyramids as grain elevators and the Big Bang as a fairy tale persuade me that the Kook is strong with him. But I decided Politico made such a hash of things that it was not right keep crediting their reporting.
The thing I hate about Shea is that he is always attacking the Roman Catholic faith. Shea hates anything in the Church prior to Vatican II. Shea converted to the spirit of Vatican II & the Stripped and Barren New Mass - if the Church where to change everything back to the way is was prior to Vatican II Shea would leave the Church immediately. That shows you how much of a sick and twisted man Shea is.

His latest insult is directed at the faithful who believe that Joseph built the pyramids to store grain. She being totally illiterate of things Catholic fails to notice that Gregory of Tours held to the belief that Joseph built the Pyramids to store gain.

This is why I hate Shea so much. Shea takes a swipe at Gregory of Tours while pretending he is defending truth, when in fact Shea does the opposite.

Shea would rather believe in Star Trek then to believe the writings of Gregory of Tours.

I wish nothing but evil for this demented man.

  1. Shea is personally offended that food would be stored instead of instantly consumed!
