Nationalist Steve Bannon is going to save the Church?

As always Michael Matt and his Remnant writers cannot let their love of NATIONALISM go.

Matt is a ballot casting - democracy crazed - Nationalist.

According to Matt modern democracy will restore all things in Christ.

If you remember back in the 2008 election one of his writers - Christopher Ferrara told his Remnant followers that in order to save your soul and go to Heaven you must cast a ballot for Protestant John McCain.

If you vote for Barack Obama you will go to HELL!

If you vote for a third party Candidate you will go to purgatory!

Call it the Christopher Ferrara political doctrine.

That was then and as of today the folks at the Remnant are still hawking political nonsense - this time its NATIONALISM:

The time for a Bannon-styled Catholic populist political movement is now, since, like it or not, we now face the end of the history of our civilization. Western, Catholic identity must be asserted in the public sphere, working collaboratively (but not “ecumenically”) with allies in other faiths to restore order and sanity to the West. Which way are you prepared to go, Western Catholic man? Source

Our Lady of La Salette warning against the Nationalism of the Forerunner to the Antichrist:

“A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops gathered from several nations, will fight against the true Christ, the only Saviour of the world. He will shed much blood and will want to annihilate the worship of God to make himself be looked upon as a God. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

Our Lady Of Fatima on the Nationalist Soldiers of the Forerunner to the Antichrist who will murder the Fatima Pope and Faithful:

“J.M.J.

The third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria-Fatima, on 13 July 1917.

I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!'. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

Tuy-3-1-1944”.

Dear brothers and sisters, I feel that this Word of God is particularly directed at me, at this point in my life. The Lord is calling me to "climb the mountain", to devote myself even more to prayer and meditation. But this does not mean abandoning the Church, indeed, if God is asking me to do this it is so that I can continue to serve the Church with the same dedication and the same love with which I have done thus far, but in a way that is better suited to my age and my strength. Let us invoke the intercession of the Virgin Mary: may she always help us all to follow the Lord Jesus in prayer and works of charity. Benedict XVI Angelus February 23, 2013
