And yet I’m sympathetic to the temptation, because I have no idea how to explain in any way that is remotely satisfying how a man like Jorge Bergoglio can occupy the papal office if infallibility is truly any kind of guarantee that the Church and the pope will not lead us into error and sin. I believe I understand the teaching on a universally elected pope, and I believe it demands our assent. But in the face of what we are confronted with, I can’t preclude the possibility that I’ve missed something. Source
What will these LAYMAN do when Benedict dies?
This is more evidence that Skojec is unstable - he's not that different from Annie. What's probably going on here is that his stats and donations are down when he comes off as supporting Pope Francis and disagrees with Barnhardt, Matt, and White - along with their followers. He seems to lack the courage to stand by the Pope. He attempts to earn his living and reputation from his website, holding out hope for interviews by legitimate media and some sort of syndication deal with other sites.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing is that all these Anti-Pope bloggers attend FSSP parishes. Makes me wonder about the formation at FSSP chapels. Something going on there.
