ANNAS & CAIAPHAS
Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and Philip his brother tetrarch of Iturea, and the country of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilina; Under the high priests Annas and Caiphas; the word of the Lord was made unto John, the son of Zachary, in the desert. Viganò About the Church’s Death Rattle
The demolition of the little that still survives that is Catholic by the bishops and priests marks the the Church’s Descent into the Tomb, Archbishop Viganò writes on AldoMariaValli.it (July 14).
He explains that God wills that the Church imitate Christ in everything, even in his Passion. Therefore, her terrible death rattle is for Viganò the necessary premise of her resurrection because with this “Redemption is brought to completion.”
We participate in the work of the Redemption not passively but as active protagonists, Viganò explains, “It is in this that we may say that we are a priestly people.”
Therefore, in the face of the bishops’ apostasy and the Church’s agony, we cannot be truly pessimistic, Viganò stresses.
He recalls that the priests were the first who wanted to kill Christ, “so it is not surprising that in the moment of the Church's Passion it is precisely they who mock what their blind soul no longer understands.” Source

Again if the Church is following Christ's descent into the Tomb then shouldn't we first witness the Church being judged by TWO JUDGES? A lot takes place in the Passion of Christ before Christ is entombed. Or don't you know that? Maybe because you fail to meditate on the Passion of Christ during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass but instead only pay lip service to it.

TWO HIGH PRIESTS?
Annas and Caiaphas?
Shouldn't we witness that first?
According to Viganò the Church jumps ahead and enters the Tomb?
What?
Where is the order in that?
The Church is judged by TWO JUDGES and those TWO JUDGES are the TWO POPES - BENEDICT & FRANCIS.
A few claim that Pope Francis election is invalid because Pope Benedict resignation is invalid - something to do with violating canon law.
But the evidence is clear that we have TWO POPES 1+1=2
If the Church follows Christ in His passion then it stands to reason that the Church must be judged by TWO HIGH PRIESTS - TWO POPES.
Again Scripture TRUMPS Canon Law.
Canon Law is NOT infallible
Scripture IS infallible.
The Pope is not bound by canon law. Canon law is man-made just like our modern democracy.
So please stop acting like canon law is the be all and end all.
Its not.

BEDE. Both Annas and Caiaphas, when John began his preaching, were the High Priests, but Annas held the office that year, Caiaphas the same year in which our Lord suffered on the cross. Three others had held the office in the intervening time, but these two, as having particular reference to our Lord’s Passion, are mentioned by the Evangelist. For at that time of violence and intrigue, the commands of the Law being no longer in force, the honour of the High Priest’s office was never given to merit or high birth, but the whole affairs of the Priesthood were managed by the Roman power. For Josephus relates, that Valerius Gratus, when Annas was thrust out of the Priesthood, appointed Ismael High Priest, the son of Baphas; but not long after casting him off, he put in his place Eleazar the son of the High Priest Ananias. After the space of one year, he expelled him also from the office, and delivered the government of the High Priesthood to a certain Simon, son of Caiaphas, who holding it not longer than a year, had Joseph, whose name also was Caiaphas, for his successor; so that the whole time during which our Lord is related to have taught is included in the space of four years.

And Annas sent him bound to Caiphas the high priest." Jn. 18.24.

Divine Scripture proves the possibility of TWO POPES or Papal Diarchy.
So far no one has been able to refute the Papal Diarchy using the authority of Scripture.
During lent if one meditates on the four men that sat in judgment against Christ you will find these four judges:
- Annas
- Caiphas
- Pilate
- Herod
Two of these men are high priests:
- Annas
- Caiphas
Here is Divine Scripture calling these two men - High Priests:
Under the high priests Annas and Caiphas; the word of the Lord was made unto John, the son of Zachary, in the desert. Lk.iii.
And they led him away to Annas first, for he was father in law to Caiphas, who was the high priest of that yea. Jn.xviii
Scripture is clear in the history of the Passion, that Jesus was first brought to the HIGH PRIEST Annas to be judged,
Scripture is also clear that the blow across the face that Jesus received at the hands of a solider took place in the HIGH PRIEST Annas:
And apprehending him, they led him to the high priest' s house. But Peter followed afar off.......And they led him away to Annas first, for he was father in law to Caiphas, who was the high priest of that year. If there can be TWO HIGH PRIESTS to condemn Christ then there can be TWO POPES.
